Out with the Old, in with the New

Journal Entry: Mon Feb 25, 2008, 9:22 AM
I just scrapped a bunch of my older stuff and submitted three new things...I reallllly need to get into more of a habit of drawing every day. Hopefully I will be drawing more often soon, but right now I'm doubling up on school and taking a course at the college and starting my new job, so I'll probably need a little while to get into a routine before you see any more stuff from me.

OMGoodnessGracious! *squeeeee*
They're making The Hobbit into a movie, finally!!!! *bounces off walls*
And not just one, but TWO movies!!! *bouncing off ceilings and floors also*
I'm sooooo excited and happy and giddy!!!! I can't WAIT for them to come out!!! Alas, production will not even start til 2009! *faints with dismay*
I will be halfway through college before they even come out!!! *sob* I'll be so old...*sigh*
But this means Gandalf and Gollum shall return!!! *begins bouncing off walls again* Everyone knows Gandalf is teh best of them all, they just won't admit it!! But they shall be forced to now, mwahaha!!!

Maybe I should switch to decaf coffee?...or green tea...

The Glass (That Horrible Glass)

Journal Entry: Tue Aug 21, 2007, 11:06 AM
I just made my first submission in (how long has it been?) maybe a year? A while anyways...I promise I'll try to be a little more active/submit a few more soon. ;)

Anyways...I was pondering a question, which seems to be a favorite of one of my friends: "Is the glass half full or half empty?"
I always thought it was kinda dumb and wouldn't answer cuz I don't really see it either way. Then I got to thinking...and came up with a perfect solution (an answer that she couldn't really argue with and one that sounded remotely smart...probably because I was thinking quite alot about this question in depth). Here is my solution:

The Glass is half full if it started out empty and then was filled up to the halfway mark.

The Glass is half empty if it started out full and then was emptied/drained down to the halfway mark.

Simple, Effective, Ect.
I'll stop my random chattering now.

My kitty is cuter than yours!

Journal Entry: Sat Jul 22, 2006, 8:20 PM
:ahoy: Im submitting some of my favorite baby pictures from when my Pippin kitty was little into my scraps...isn't he the most adorable, precious (not to mention good-looking!), sweetest little thing you ever saw?! He's a flame point siamese/ragdoll mix.

More Poetry

Journal Entry: Mon Apr 10, 2006, 3:43 PM
Inspired (not!) by my latest school project (reading LOTS of Shakespeare) I have submitted a few more poems...they aren't that great, but I love to write them...its a new way of expressing myself that I have discovered, so you may have to put up with a few more before I get back to my chibis...although I may be submitting a realism picture sometime soon if I can just figure out how to get the eyes on my elf right...
